Welcome to Zion Church! Our services are held at 10:00 on Sundays and we’re located at 158 East Main Street, Morris, New York.

In seeking, serving, and sharing Christ, good fellowship abounds! In its third century of service to God and his people with a mission to “share His Grace,” our outreach includes the Butternut Valley Food Pantry, the Magic Closet, providing free clothing and household items for families, and Saturday’s Soup, good food and fellowship with folks in our community. We are blessed!

About Zion Church

Zion has its roots in gatherings held in the homes of early settlers to the Butternut Valley. In 1801, the congregation built Harmony Church, the earliest Episcopal Church in Otsego County, and was served by Reverend Daniel Nash. It was used until Zion, on land given by General Jacob Morris, was built and consecrated in 1818, with 2018 marking its 200th anniversary.

Zion Episcopal Church Complex, Harmony Cemetery and All Saints Chapel are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
